John has been a proud resident of South Florida since 1980 and has served as a PGA Golf Professional since 2006. Throughout his distinguished career in the golf industry, John has demonstrated a well-rounded and accomplished skill set. He has worked at two of the region's most prestigious golf clubs, La Gorce Country Club and Biltmore Golf Club. However, his true passion lies in fostering youth development through the game of golf.

John’s dedication to youth development is best exemplified by the remarkable program he created over a decade at The First Tee of Miami. This initiative has positively impacted over 2,500 children annually from diverse backgrounds. Beyond youth programs, John has also partnered with local military veterans through the PGA of America HOPE program, providing golf instruction, equipment, and access to courses. This program aims to offer a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment to help veterans manage PTSD and physical injuries.

For the past decade, John has been actively involved with the Special Olympics of South Florida. He has coordinated two annual nine-week programs that have benefited over 1,000 Special Olympic Golf Athletes. His contributions have earned him numerous accolades from organizations such as the PGA of America and Special Olympics of South Florida. Additionally, John hosts two annual six-week Adaptive Golf Clinics in collaboration with Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Currently, John is the Director of Junior Golf at the renowned Rick Smith Golf Performance Center at the prestigious Trump Doral National Golf Club. He also offers junior golf programs at Miami Springs Golf Club and Miccosukee Golf Club through his Golf Academy of South Florida.
